Apicoectomy

When root canal therapy is not a solution, an apicoectomy may be able to preserve your dental health.

Benefits
Sometimes, an apicoectomy is necessary for patients who are looking for dental implants in West Palm Beach. Some of the benefits are:

- Oral infection preventative
- Relieves tooth pain
- Maintains natural teeth
- Restored dental health
- Beautiful smile

The Process
Before treatment, the affected area will be numbed with local anesthesia. A small incision will be made into your gums in order to make your tooth root visible. The remaining infected tissue will be removed and purified to restore your tooth back to its glory. A filling is used to seal the area and bleeding will be averted with gauze. Afterward, you may feel soreness as a result in the days after your procedure.
