Do I Need Veneers?
It is recommended that you receive veneers if you currently have:
- Crooked teeth
- Asymmetrical teeth
- Chipped teeth
- Gap teeth
- Worn down teeth (due to grinding and enamel wear)
During your initial visit, a thorough examination of your mouth, teeth, and bite will be completed. This aids our specialists in determining the extent of your veneer procedure. Your dentist will utilize a shade guide to match the natural color of your actual teeth. Then, digital images of your mouth will be taken in order to create custom veneer shells.
To prepare for veneer placement, your enamel will be trimmed down. Typically, .5 or .7 millimeters are trimmed to provide you with a natural-looking smile. A specialized resin is applied to each treated tooth so the veneers will stay in place. Your custom veneers will be attached on top of the resin and you will be able to smile like never before!
