Education & Experience

Dr. Azar earned both his Doctor of Dental Surgery and Master of Public Health degrees from Columbia University in New York. He completed his General Practice Residency at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach and went on to pursue advanced training at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center, where he served as Chief Resident.

His extensive postdoctoral education has provided him with a broad skill set across multiple areas of dentistry. As a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry since 2004, he maintains a strong commitment to clinical excellence and continuing education. He has also completed additional training in orthodontics and implantology, allowing him to offer comprehensive care and a wide range of treatment options.

Dr. Azar believes dentistry should support overall health and well-being, not just treat individual concerns. He emphasizes prevention, education, and personalized care, working closely with each patient to develop treatment plans that align with their needs and goals. His focus is on building long-term relationships and helping patients maintain healthy, confident smiles at every stage of life.

Away from the Dental Office

Outside of the office, Dr. Azar enjoys spending time with family and staying engaged in his community. His background in public health continues to influence his passion for education, wellness, and helping others live healthier lives.
